I had my first experience being an MC last night!! Well to be exact I was a Co-MC.  It was a lot of fun. There were times I felt like Vanna White while holding up items that people could purchase at the silent auction!  I was Co-MC with the well-known food critic Dan Andleman from Phantom Gourmet.

The fundraiser was for the AACA foundation. (Asian American Civic Association) Here’s their link http://aaca-boston.org/site/The AACA has been going on for about 44 years now and gives immigrants many opportunities to learn English, get job training and jobs and so much more.  It was such a touching evening and I felt so proud to be Asian American and be supporting this amazing foundation.  Please check it out!  

We were honoring my friend Ming Tsai, the amazing chef.  Ming Tsai and I have this silly inside joke that whenever he sees me he wants to steal my saxophone.  He always says,” Where’s my saxophone?!”  I performed in the later part of the evening!  It was a lovely night
