I just came back from my trip to Oslo Norway last night. We had a fantastic time playing for the wonderful audience there. I loved checking out the city. It’s one of the most beautiful cities that I’ve seen! I am very excited to announce that I am in the beginning stages of creating my first music video!! The first song we will be making a video for is one I recorded earlier this summer called, "Sweet sweet baby.”
One of the first things that popped into my head when thinking about ideas for this video was including my fans, friends and family in it. Here’s what you can do…(and I would love it if you did)
1. Listen to my song "Sweet Sweet Baby” (it’s on my facebook site. www.facebook.com/gracekellyjazz(you can download it for free) or go to soundcloud at http://soundcloud.com/gracekellyjazz/sweet-sweet-baby
2. Just sing the words "Sweet Sweet Baby" while VIDEO RECORDING yourself!! Please play my track and sing along with it. Do it with friends, sing it to your dog, sing it with you girlfriend, boyfriend, husband WHOMEVER! Or do it yourself !! There’s no need to sing 1000 times and try to make it perfect. We wont end up using your audio, but we’ll use your visual, so have fun while doing it. You can record it on your computer, on your phone,on your video camera, whatever works for you. Make it spontaneous !! It would be great if you could record the whole song so we can have options to choose from, but if you only have time to sing a little bit that’s ok too.
3. Email the video to me at grace@gracekellymusic.com. I really look forward to seeing what you guys come up with!! Dance, sing, be goofy, do whatever! If you don’t have time to take a video of yourself singing the song, you could send a picture of you and your "Sweet Sweet Baby” (again that is open to your boyfriend, girlfriend, pet, child, grandchild, husband, wife, and everything else!) Try to get pics and video to me by Sunday September 25th
