International Chamber Music Ensemble Competition July 2005
Scullers Jazz Club
Grace Kelly wowed the sold out crowd at Scullers Jazz Club to a standing ovation after she played Stardust and All The Things You Are last night. She joined the Winiker Band and Estelle Katz who were there performing their Cd release of Estelle Sings. After Estelle had sung a number of wonderful tunes from her new Cd she took a little break and called Grace to the stage to join the Winiker Quartet for two amazing instrumentals. Grace played Hoagy Carmichael's Stardust with much sensitivity and lyricism. She was then joined by Bo Winiker on Trumpet to perforn the original arrangement of Charlie Parker and Dizzy Gillespie's All The Things You Are. Ending to a rousing round of applause and a standing ovation.
